    • Final prices may vary upon physical inspection of the vehicle at the time of collection.
    • Quotes are valid for 24 hours from the time they are issued unless otherwise stated.
    • We reserve the right to adjust or withdraw a quote if the vehicle condition differs significantly from the description provided.

    4. Vehicle Ownership

    By requesting a quote and proceeding with a sale, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the vehicle or are authorised to sell it on behalf of the owner. You must provide valid identification and proof of ownership (V5C logbook) at the time of collection. ScrapCarsPro will not knowingly purchase stolen or illegally obtained vehicles.

    5. Collection and Payment

    • We offer free collection from any location within the UK, subject to accessibility.
    • Collection times are agreed between you and our collection team and are subject to availability.
    • Payment is made at the point of collection via bank transfer or other agreed method.
    • You must ensure the vehicle is accessible for collection at the agreed time and location.
    • If the vehicle cannot be collected due to your unavailability, we may need to reschedule.

    6. Cancellation

    You may cancel your booking at any time before collection by contacting us. Once a vehicle has been collected and payment made, the transaction is considered final. If you wish to cancel after submitting a quote request, please contact us as soon as possible at info@scrapcarspro.co.uk or call 0800 999 1302.

    7. DVLA Notification

    Upon collection, we will handle the DVLA notification process. We will issue a Certificate of Destruction (CoD) where applicable, in accordance with End of Life Vehicle regulations. It is your responsibility to ensure the DVLA is notified of the change of ownership, and we will assist with this process.

    8. Environmental Responsibility

    ScrapCarsPro operates in full compliance with UK environmental regulations. All vehicles are processed at Authorised Treatment Facilities (ATFs) licensed by the Environment Agency. We ensure that hazardous materials are disposed of safely and that recyclable materials are recovered wherever possible.

    9. Limitation of Liability

    While we strive to provide accurate quotes and reliable service, ScrapCarsPro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the vehicle in question.
